Great interiors. And a really nice menu. It’s an interesting take on the more normative american/french bistro menu. Creative vegetarian options. Nicely composed plates. Interesting flavor combinations. Honestly, it’s way more interesting than five leaves in brooklyn! Shhhhh
Five Leaves LA has the best pancakes I have ever had - ever. First time I went, I got the gravlax plate - which was really yummy and everything you could want from a gravlax plate. My friend got the pancakes and was kind enough to give me a whole pancake. Wow. The pancake is perfectly fluffy and covered in this delicious honeycomb butter. These pancakes were so good that I went back exactly one week later to get them again. The interior of Five Leaves is really beautiful too....read full review

this place was always empty yet when we went, the service was sooooo SLOW. the food was fine, nothing to write home about and it's an instagram friendly spot but I see how this place had a hard time- so much space, maybe too much?
