Wow this place is a delicious gem! My friend and I both got the Chrissy—delicious! The sandwich is thickkkk so after eating one slice, I needed a nap. I didn’t take one but man, I sure felt happily satisfied after that sandwich and bag of chips.
Chinatown is also one of my favorite spots to eat in downtown LA. I’m a native here and would recommend for anyone looking for something LA to do

I stopped in today, Sat 8/29, Picked up a couple spicy Italian sandwiches, and met the owner while I was there. Super nice guy . Incredible sandwiches and the focaccia is absolutely to die for. Love how the meat is sliced super thin, but you get a lot of it. Hoping these guys Continued success and looking forward to when they add the GodFrank to the menu.
First, off I don’t usually write reviews, but definitely try to meet the owner, he is so cool!!!!! The sandwiches are very good, and the vibe here is incredible!

Frank n Frank’s A Sandwich Joint is a gem in Chinatown. The sandwiches are very good, and the vibe is incredible. The bread is incredible and very unique, with a soft and pillowy focaccia that is top notch. The quality of the ingredients is very good; the Spicy Italian sandwich uses high-quality olive oil. The Nostalgia, their version of a turkey club, features gorgeous turkey slices paired with candied bacon. Every sandwich is balanced to perfection. The salad is not to be slept on. The staff are friendly and chat with customers, making it feel like a part of the community. The space offers a shaded patio to sit and enjoy bites. Free potato chips come with any sandwich purchase. The oolong cream soda is pleasant and refreshing. They even brought complimentary cold water bottles. The owner is cool, and the staff is lovely, chatting about the menu and secret items. The sandwich the neighborhood needed, and the best sandwich ever eaten in LA.
