Stopped by for a coffee and matcha break on a hot day and had a really nice experience. This is such a quaint, personal little spot with a cozy atmosphere that makes it a great place to relax and enjoy a drink. We ordered coffee, but received an iced coffee instead. I'm sure with the heat, the order may have been interpreted that way, and we could have been more clear when ordering. GG Coffee & Matcha is a quaint, personal little spot with a cozy atmosphere that makes it a great place to relax and enjoy a drink. The coffee shop has a cute and modern vibe, a calm and relaxed vibe, and very chill local energy. The music sits at the perfect volume and the booths are genuinely comfortable. The staff is friendly and actually follows up to see how you’re enjoying your drink. Customers can tell they care about their customers. The coffee is perfect—skillfully poured and right temperature, robust and full of flavor. The matcha and coffee were also excellent. The horchata matcha was spot on with a great balance of bitter and sweet. A $15 coffee + breakfast burrito deal includes a breakfast burrito with any meat or avacado and any coffee drink of choice. The chorizo breakfast burrito and an iced vanilla latte were both delicious. The iced coffee was actually really good and refreshing. There was a small wait, but they generously covered drinks. The space feels a bit bare, like it could use plants, art, maybe a few more tables, and a couple of power outlets.
