My favorite Korean spot in Los Angeles. Did some research online for good kimchi and discovered this place. Their kimchi is fantastic, but then I also discovered this entire meal. This is perfect comfort food. Sunday mornings. Rainy afternoons or pretty much anytime you need something soupy in your life.

i've heard that this place has gotten more expensive (+5 USD in the past 4 years), but given how much recognition it has received for its consistent high quality oxtail soup, i think it's definitely still worth it for a healing, homey meal. the kimchi here is so good, crunch umami perfection. and they have a generous amount of meat. the broth is milky and you can customize how much salt you want to add, which is great for anyone who is health-conscious.

This spot USED to be amazing. No longer. Quality has noticeably gone down. Just doesn't taste as good as before. So many better options.

Coming from east Asia the soup was actually pretty mediocre. Stone bowl was cold so soup turned lukewarm pretty quickly. At $20 per bowl, everything felt a bit

Wow, just wow. I dream of this place every now and then because their Shul Lung Tang is that good. I never ever crave Shul Lung Tang, but wow, this place…I have no words. You have to try their stew. You will ascend and remain in a state of euphoria. You’ve never had a proper stew until you’ve tried their Shul Lung Tang.

If you are Asian and you are tired of American food, it is a good choice to come to Koreatown for a bowl of hot snow soup.
Restaurant like this is very rare these days when everything is pre-cooked frozen garbage. This one still keeps the norm of traditional cookingAuthentic Korean ox bone soup.NO MSG IN THE SOUP. Naturally boiled. All the flavors come from the ox bones themselves. It really mattersYou can ask to add extra meat and it’s worth it. The meat is naturally flavored the soup is naturally umami-ed

short line, super fresh and hot soup, although the meat toppings were quite skimpy / pretty sure they missed some of the cuts we had asked for. make sure to doctor it up with green onions, kimchi is great and not too salty!
