About Pixiu Mala Hongtang

Pixiu Mala Hongtang is a restaurant known for its hot pot and mala tang dishes, offering a variety of fresh ingredients like bok choy, tofu, mushrooms, and tender meat. The restaurant provides customizable options, allowing diners to choose their preferred spice level for a rich, spicy broth that delivers bold and comforting flavors. Many customers appreciate the clean environment and family-friendly atmosphere, with attentive staff who are kind and helpful. The restroom is notably very clean, adding to the pleasant dining experience.

While some find the food delicious and well-cooked, others feel the prices are high for what is offered. The meat is priced separately by portion, and additional charges for items like ramen or extra meat can make the bill expensive. Several reviews mention that the restaurant is somewhat overpriced, with one customer paying nearly a hundred dollars for a meal that did not meet expectations. Parking is limited, but valet service is available for a small fee.

Despite mixed reviews on value, Pixiu Mala Hongtang remains a favored spot for those seeking flavorful hot pot with fresh ingredients and good service. It is especially recommended for those who enjoy spicy dishes or are looking for a warm, satisfying meal in a thoughtfully put-together setting.

The BEST Mala tang ever!!
This was my first visit here and the staff Brian was really nice and kind!!
Plus I loved the food and place as well~
So yummy and cozy the place~~
If I could I’d give 10 of 10! ❤

I would say this place is overpriced. The selection is limited. At most mala tang places, meat is included in the price by weight, but here they charge extra for it. They also charge an additional $2 for ramen, which feels unreasonable. Overall, there are definitely better options if you’re looking for mala tang.

amazing place. have been here often
