“When I arrived at LAX late at night, I was disappointed to find that all the food options were closed. Hungry and unsure of what to get, I stumbled upon a Farmer’s Fridge vending machine and decided to give it a try. I chose the chicken Caesar salad, not expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised. The ingredients were incredibly fresh, the flavors were well-balanced, and it tasted far better than I anticipated. It was a convenient and satisfying option, and I’d definitely grab one again in a pinch!“

“We had such an amazing breakfast at MAD Rebel Health Kitchen in Beverly! Everything was super fresh and incredibly tasty – I started my day with a Rockstar (fresh juice) and a Lil Toast, and it was just perfect. Honestly one of the best breakfasts in the city.

Our kids are still talking about the food a month later, which says it all 😂 Definitely a hidden gem in LA – highly recommended!“

I went to this other place to try açaí bowls thinking it was going to taste like the blue majik in roots and rye but it was so badddd. So hands down the best blue majik. My order is blue majik, young coconut, the vanilla granola, strawberries, banana, cacao nibs and cinnamon powder. Simple but fireee. Also I really like this place bc the toppings unlimited unlike other places :)“

“Swung by Oakberry hoping to relive the magic, but the açaí just doesn’t slap like it used to. The texture and flavor felt a little off — not as rich or bold as I remember. Still fresh, just not hitting the same.

But shoutout to the girl working — she was shy but really nice, super polite, and made the whole experience better. Sometimes a good vibe at the counter goes a long way. Service: 10/10. Açaí: room for improvement.“

“Honestly, I don’t remember the last time I was in a place with such great service. I spoke with who I believe is the owner, and he gave me a brief history of the place ( since the 80s). He made sure to ask, before I brought it up, if I was ok with the ingredients and proceed to list them. He offered fries and soda to which I declined, but he must’ve confused my hesitation ( I don’t really like fries nor sodas) because he gave me free fries and a free drink when he brought the plate to my table.

He is extremely kind. I saw how he went to check in on the other table and carried conversations with each person- sharing laughs too. As soon as he saw someone getting up, he made sure to stop anyone who wanted to clean their own table, making sure they can leave without worrying about the table and cleaning up after them.

I would come here again just for the service. The food is great too, but the service stood out the most to me.“

“I felt welcomed as soon as I entered. I created my plate. Steak over sushi rice with chimichurri sauce. My sides excited my taste buds. Parmesan brussel sprouts that actually had sliced dates inside, made it quite sweet. The butternut squash side actually had a little bit of pine nuts and tangerines within it. Interior inside is small BUT the food flavor is large! Clean restroom and metered street parking.

Parking: Two spots for to-go order pickup but one was used for their catering van.“
