We’d always laugh @ our son who lives on the east coast and when visiting, would ALWAYS make Imperial Fish a “must visit” each and EVERY TIME he came to town. Today, we met a lady who now lives in the South who’s from Compton and talked about her favorite foods when visiting Compton… yup… it’s Imperial Fish, too! We’ve eaten there… we’re no longer laughing because the fillet of sole is so good! ?!
Omg!!!!! Where do I start??? First off I paid food all this food with EBT!!! Cannot get any better than that!!! Secondly the food was hot, fresh, crispy, fast and accurate!!! We order the fish and shrimp combo with 2 sides for about $15!!! Unfortunately they don't carry Louisiana hot sauce so bring you some if you're like me and need it! However, the lime was a different little kick that I loved!!!! Go try the place if you haven't already!!! Very good customer service!!!

The fish was good just the way I like it this time. Also they really do pay attention to if you say cook fish soft or hard. Side's good too.Only thing if you go to late or lunch time fries are old and hard and tastes like old grease. Sometimes you can tell fish grease is a little old by taste of fish and shrimp.Parking: Depending on time parking is bad because fish market share lot with liquor store. Free street parking but a lot of apartments in the area so tenants have most.
