Island Flavors Caribbean Cuisine is a gem that brings the vibrant tastes of the Caribbean to Los Angeles. Growing up in Miami next to Little Haiti, I developed a deep appreciation for Haitian and Caribbean cuisine, and finding a place that offers such authentic flavors in LA was a delightful surprise. Island Flavors was my first time trying Haitian food. I can already tell that it is my favorite food amongst the Caribbean islands. I got the chicken stew (which I believe is called pollo creole), the salmon with veggies, and the legume (vegetable and beef stew). It was all incredibly delicious. A very homemade type of taste it.
