Very good food
Food is a little slow but it’s handmade by a grandma with love and it’s worth the wait 👵🏼

Kailey's Restaurant is a small, authentic Latin eatery that offers delectable pupusas, made from masa de arroz and maiz. Although parking can be a bit hard to find, it shouldn't deter anyone from visiting. The homemade dishes, including the beloved pastelitos and tasty salsa, are truly worth the effort. The owner and chef creates a warm, welcoming atmosphere reminiscent of a traditional Latin family gathering. The restaurant features lovely outside seating that reminds customers of eating at a family member's house. While service can be slow during busy times, the food is made with love and care, offering a genuine taste of Spanish cuisine. The pupusas are noted as some of the best in (north) East LA, coming hot and fresh with plenty of melty cheese. With a limited seating capacity, the restaurant ensures a homely feel, and both cash and card are accepted for convenience.
