good place and highly recommend.
We came at 6, and asked the owner who is manning the front, If we could come in early, since our reservations was at 8. He, with a straight face, says no. I'm busy. I looked around to the 5 occupied tables and laughed. I then asked him if he'd like me to go back on open table and make a reservation for 630 since there were so many. He said it wasn't necessary.
That's the owner. Lord.
Update: the owner read our review and took our plates and drinks off the table.
Every dish from First to dessert was delicious. Artfully and thoughtfully done and presented. The Black Garlic Barley Risotto surprised me - something as simple as barley turned out to be so flavorful and my favorite dish. What really made our meal though was our amazing bartender/server who entertained us with stories and conversation all night. Will definitely be back!
