Karihang-Pinoy serves authentic Filipino food with a home-cooked touch. This LA gem is a must-visit for Filipino breakfast and food, including their popular Bulalo on Thursdays and Sundays. The Tapsilog, featuring beef strips, garlic rice, and egg, is highly praised as the best version many have tasted since moving to the US. Food is always freshly cooked, and the service is excellent. Guests can enjoy a variety of delicious dishes, including the tasty suman. The restaurant is located inside a little market, and while the appearance may not be glamorous, it offers many dishes at reasonable prices with generous portions. A dining area upstairs provides plenty of seating, and everyone is friendly and helpful. Be sure to arrive before 2pm to avoid sold-out items.
