I go there occasionally simply because it’s close to where I live, but as I travel to Japan seven or eight times a year on business, I’m increasingly aware of the differences—such as the intensity of the flavours and the quality of the sushi toppings.
The server was wonderful. I wish I remembered his name because he was on the ball and offered thoughtful recommendations. The atmosphere…visually beautiful but seating was tight and the music was too loud/seemed dissonant with the space (popular rock music?).

Love most of the food and people who work there, really quite lovely especially our waiter on Saturday night! However, we have now eaten at your West Hollywood, Century City and now Brentwood locations. Saturday we were very disappointed in the seating with chairs on one side and then a very low couch on the other making it awkward to reach the table, talk to guests on other side of the table and hard to stand up afterwards.
