Ordered a black sesame latte! Yum. Didn’t love my ube cheesecake pastry, felt like it was all bread with very little cheesecake filling. Happy to try nonetheless

"We discontinued disposable straws, but we have reusable straws available for purchase." That alone is a minus one star for me. I'm sure it's a plus one star for some people.

Kindness & Mischief Coffee is a nice spot in the heart of Highland Park! The vibe here is effortlessly cool, with a cozy, artsy atmosphere that makes it the perfect spot to relax or catch up with friends. The coffee was good—I highly recommend their almond milk mocha, which was creamy and perfectly balanced.
The staff is friendly and welcoming, which adds to the overall charm of the place. I love the little touches, like the quirky artwork and the thoughtful details in their presentation. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into everything they do.
It can get pretty crowded, especially on weekends, and seating can be a bit tight. But honestly, that’s just a testament to how popular this place is! If you’re in the area, Kindness & Mischief is definitely worth a visit. It’s a great spot to enjoy quality coffee and soak in the local Highland Park vibe.

Tried the Pan Dan Horchata latte. This is one abomination of a hybrid. It’s not my place to say, but I’d remove from menu. I tossed it after two sips. Do not recommend.
The cashier was super friendly!
It was my first time trying pandesal. I liked that it had many flavors and its pillowy interior and a golden, sandy exterior dusted with breadcrumbs. However, it wasn’t my favorite kind of bread because I prefer french pastries. It was still very good though! Overall, I like this cafe and will come back to use my laptop and hang out there in a random afternoon.

K&M Coffee in Highland Park is a gem for coffee lovers! Their chocolate orange latte is hands-down the best coffee drink in the city. The rich, velvety chocolate perfectly complements the bright citrusy orange, creating a flavor combination that's both indulgent and refreshing. Every sip is a treat, and the cozy, welcoming vibe of the café makes it even better. A must-visit spot for a truly exceptional latte!

Service and atmosphere was nice and friendly but the cold brew was ridiculously acidic for some reason. Not sure if it’s the beans they’re using or the way they roasted them but I couldn’t finish it

K & M Coffee Roasters (est 2018) is a chic coffee shop that serve coffee, teas, breakfast and pastries. They are located at HighlandPark neighborhood of Los Angeles, CA. Their hours are from Mon-Sun 7am - 4pm. They have a modest selection of coffee/tea, pastries and food items. Similarly, they sell a wide selection of merch, mugs, coffee bags, straws etc.
I came early morning and was warmly greeted by a young cute female staff. I ordered a hot Mocha Latte. It was brewed perfectly. Interior decor was adorable and the vibe was relaxing. Prices seem reasonable. Overall, I had a good experience and enjoyed my coffee. I recommend this coffee shop.

Low quality matcha 0/10, but overall Great service. Staff is nice and friendly. I’d probably try their coffee next time
Baristas were very unfriendly. I asked what flavors they had since it was my first time there, and the barista just said “whatever’s on the menu.” I then asked for a burrito since the menu says “burritos all day.” To which she replied, “the kitchen closes at 1.” Coffee was nothing to write home about. Overall a pretty bland and disappointing experience.
