L&E is my go-to neighborhood spot. So lucky that I am steps (well, two flights of Silver Lake steps) away. I just threw my birthday there with my closest girlfriends and their staff made the night so special. The food was incredible, the vibes were immaculate - always have an amazing time at L&E.
Lovely servers and great food!
Very friendly service and very delicious food! Not too excited to share as I want to keep this quaint little place all to myself. There’s also a cute little boutique a few storefronts down the street if you need a gift for someone.

L & E Oyster Bar is a cozy neighborhood spot with delicious food and great service. The ambiance features a cute vibe with street-side tables for two, dimly strung lighting, and candles, making it perfect for a rainy day visit. The oysters and clam chowder are a must-try, and the lobster roll is heavenly. Fresh bistro-style seafood options include the oyster sampler with Pacific NW and Gulf oysters and the Steamed Mussels, which were both delicious. The branzino, steak au poivre, and scallops with risotto were all tasty and well-seasoned. The pommes frites are super crunchy with the perfect amount of savory seasoning, possibly the best some have had. The smores tart is a standout dessert. While some customers found it a bit expensive, they appreciated the food and service. However, there were concerns about an add-on charge and the manager's attitude. Overall, it's definitely worth a trip back!
