About Mandarin House(Jin Hung Gak)

Mandarin House, also known as Jin Hung Gak, is a Korean-style Chinese restaurant located in LA's K-Town. It is well-known for its delicious Jjajangmyeon and Tang Soo Yook (Sweet & Sour Pork). The pork in the Tang Soo Yook is fried in new oil and served with a perfectly balanced sweet and sour sauce. The Jjambbong soup is full of flavor, with seafood and onions cooked just right. The Samseon Jjambbong, however, received mixed reviews, as some found the soup base to be overly greasy and lacking in seafood flavor, described as full of hot pepper oils. The restaurant's νŒ”λ³΄μ±„ (SautΓ©ed Mixed Seafood) was a hit, though the mustard sauce served with it was not spicy and tasted more like the mustard sauce served with burgers or chicken nuggets. The κ°„μ§œμž₯ and 돼지고기 νƒ•μˆ˜μœ‘ (Pork Cutlet) were praised for their taste. Recent visitors enjoyed dishes like the seafood Jajangmyun, which was a little blander than expected, and the Mapo Tofu, perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of spice. The shrimp fried rice was also highly recommended for being hot, tasty, and fresh. Overall, Mandarin House offers a variety of Korean-Chinese dishes, with some standout options, though some reviews noted certain dishes could be improved. The restaurant is clean, quiet, and accessible for wheelchair users, making it a convenient spot for a casual meal.

One of the better Chinese/Korean restaurants in Koreatown
Seafood is probably one of the very best in town and price is quite reasonable as well. We always enjoy the delicious seafood and noodles. Strongly recommended!!!
