The food was tasty. It was my first time there. I got the onion soup. There was the usual cheese and onions, but there was a large floater in it. I tried to cut it with my spoon with no luck. I then used a fork, no luck. I then spooned it and tried to bite it, almost breaking my teeth.I asked the waiter what it was. He told me it was bread! I told him I almost broke my teeth on it. Come here because I was waiting for my car to be fixed in the shopping center..One of the cutest hidden gems in Los Feliz. I love that the environment is a cute family friendly atmosphere. My server, Alex was awesome. He was super attentive (without being over baring) and gave wonderful recommendations. I ordered the Santa Fe omelette, which was cooked to perfection. Can't speak to the ambiance, but we ordered our Thanksgiving meal from Mimi's this year, and it was just what we wanted. The turkey was tender and juicy, the gravy was perfect, and the carrot nut bread was just lovely. I don't know if Mimi's is doing their own baking, but the pumpkin pie was one of the most flavorful I've had. Stuffing and potatoes weren't standouts, but just fine.
