Came here on a Sunday for breakfast. Having heard about the gacha dish being special to Little Tokyo, we came to support the business. Besides our party, there were only a few other customers. The vegetarian gacha I ordered was excellent. The order for our party of 6 came out very slow and one dish at a time. Service was friendly, and accommodating. Nice little hole in the wall with affordable food! I discovered this place back in undergrad when they had (and still do) have very affordable lunch specials. Will definitely be back.At the time of our visit, I believe there was only 1 server, but later on (when we were leaving), we saw another staff member walk in.

My favorite place to eat lunch in Downtown LA. Having worked downtown for years, this place was and still is a calm, quiet haven for a peaceful lunch. Sure it's dated decor from 90s, definitely old school, but it's comfortable, and the server (owner's wife) is cheerful and knows you. The younger servers are more shy. But everyone is friendly.
