Mountain San BBQ is the oldest Korean restaurant in America and serves some of the best Korean food anywhere in the states. The restaurant provides excellent food quality and superb service with a smile. Highlights include a parking garage with validation, ribeye slices with the right amount of marbling, and thick cut kalbi in the rolled style. The banchan is the most impressive, with lots of great fresh vegetables, tofu, and even a fried banchan that matches well with soju. The variety and quality of meat is great, very fresh and well seasoned. The owner has a story for every dish served and expertly cooks the meat. Specific meals mentioned include Abalone porridge, dry-aged pork belly, chicken wings, and Korean calamari. The restaurant is good for groups, though late at night loud music makes it difficult to chat.
