Ever crave a NY style BEC bagel but you live in West LA? Look no further than New York Bagel and Deli! While there are many good bagel places in the city, this has the best bagel quality and value in my opinion. They do everything, from bagel with shmear and lox to BEC and even pizza, all for an affordable price. Highlight is the sandwich combo which is a fat bagel sandwich and a combo. It's my go to for a filling breakfast for a long day!

Budget lunch options in Sawtelle are hard to come by. At NY Bagel and Deli, you can get a good old fashion new york style bagel for less than $10 (including an add on and the egg surcharge). Their bagels seemed to be made in house. I found their everything bagel to be delicious! It was very filling as well.
I came later around 1pm and they ran out of hashbrowns. Hoping...

Thank you to NY Bagel & Deli for taking on a huge order for my team! Everyone including myself absolutely loved the black & white cookies. Also - these bad boys were massive and lived up to their tasty appearance! Hand for scale lol
