Every time I come I see Sukhdev and he is very caring. The buffet is fantastic and has a lot of great choices.

Hardly any food for the price and no flavor. Meat is dry.

The food is excellent, it's a family run restaurant with very kind attentive service. Good for locals.

This is where I regularly order Indian takeout from. A lot of other local Indian places don't have authentic flavors but this one does, at least for their entrees / takeout. (I haven't had their lunch buffet so can't comment on that.) Also their spice levels can get very spicy (think Thai food spicy!)
Homestyle, like you’d get visiting an Indian friend’s home… and healthier than most, you can just tell.

Nizam Indian Restaurant is one of our family’s favorite spots in West LA! The food is consistently delicious and full of authentic flavor. We always look forward to the Cheesy Naan, Peas Pulao, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Aloo Gobhi—but the true standout for us is the Shrimp Malabar. It’s absolutely outstanding and keeps us coming back every time. A must-visit for anyone who loves great Indian cuisine!

If you’re in the UCLA or Hollywood area and craving Indian food, this restaurant is a fantastic option. The buffet offers a wide variety of non-vegetarian dishes, all flavorful and well-prepared. The owner couple is friendly and welcoming.

It’s really unfortunate that they cannot come up with a consistent spice level for mild, medium, and spicy. I have been ordering and coming here for about 15 years and I think I have finally had it. We try to order medium every time because that’s what we want—medium. But it ranges from so spicy I can’t even eat it to so mild it’s tasteless. It’s too bad bc the food is otherwise very good. I don’t understand why it’s so hard. Measure it.

I have been coming to this restaurant every time I visit the city. The food is absolutely delicious, some of the best Indian food I have ever had. I have had a wide range of food on the menu and has never disappointed! The service was great and the interior is very comforting. I always look forward coming to this restaurant!
Delicious lunch buffet at a good price point with great service. I would definitely recommend if you’re looking for comforting Indian food!
This place is so good!! We've been looking for a good Indian place for a while and this one ticked all the boxes. Got the veggie thali, chicken tikka masala, and aloo tikki. All of them were so good!

This place is so good 😋
Thankfully they have a lunch special buffet and it includes a different variety of Indian cuisine. I paid $19.95 which isn't as bad compared to other restaurants in the area and this is a BUFFET! They give you the choice to pick between garlic naan or regular naan bread. Overall I recommend checking this place out if you're in the area
