Ordered the Lechon Kawali, Lumpia Shanghai, and Ube Pancakes! And each one of them were so delicious! It did not disappoint. The lechon kawali was so filling and the pork was so perfectly crispy on the outside! The sauce was very delicious too and I liked that it came with jasmine rice. We really liked the crispy chips that came with the lumpia Shanghai. I also really enjoyed how dense the ube pancakes were! Came here when I was backpacking through LA. This place is so good but the meat was a bit dry and the portions a little small for the price. I had asked for something (anything!) w/ vegetables b/c the train had no vegetables, and the veggies (plantains) that came with my lechon were SO GOOD. The staff was so sweet and asked me questions about myself while sharing how she also wanted to backpack Europe, too. Would come again.
Rare find in the heart of Chinatown, I'm glad they have plant based options for us! We tried the vegetarian burrito and impossible locomoco! Burrito was decent and very rich filled with mushrooms and zucchini, squash! The impossible locomoco was served with rice, mushroom gravy and an impossible patty! Food was flavorful and decent, they are very busy with takeout orders! Dine in requires proof of vaccination. Service was hot/cold, at times it was good and at times she was cold....read full review
