Osusume Fumio offers uni hand rolls that are a must get, nonnegotiable every time. The chef serves a superstar dry aged bluefin tuna and ootoro, including a 17 day dry aged cut that many still dreaming about. The vibe is friendly/chill and easy going, a fresh air breath compared to classic traditional omakase. Guests enjoy control and flexibility with the menu and a lunch recommendation and street parking around the corner. The small intimate bar has just 6 seats, offers a wonderful experience for sushi regulars and newer eaters alike. Quality ingredients are top‑notch, rice is exceptional, and the chef has great sense of humor, laughter and fantastic hospitality to each night out.
