Here's to Papa John's. They had a good run. This location is now permanently closed. I'll never forget the first time I had the garlic dipping sauce at Papa John's. I tried it for the very first time at this location. That was back in the good old days. The early 2000's. It took a bit of a slide in recent years. Bitter memories of the cashier charging me $16 for a $5 pizza because "your payment did not show on the register" (?????!!???) may cloud over the sweet succor of cheesy recollections past, but the nourishing rains of forgiveness always grow new greens of acceptance and a willingness to return to the place of my Papa John's garlic sauce baptism. Alas, the cold, unfeeling foot of foreclosure has brought death to these greens. Papa John's on Washington, I cry tears of sorrow for the good times, the bad times, the times in between. For those times meant you were still here, still alive. I'll miss you. Like a friend, like a lover, like a child, a parent, a brother. A sister, an uncle, a grandmother or aunt, too. Rest in peace . Your memory will be cherished forevermore unto my heart until I, too, lay to rest, joining you in eternal grace and peace up above.

I've been going to this Papa John's for many years. They have always been great up until now. On Wednesday, I called to place an order for pick up. They answered the phone and I was put on hold for 7 minutes and I eventually hung up since I was obviously forgotten. Then I called back and the phone just rang and rang and was never answered. Waited a few minutes and called back. I got an answer only to be put on hold in the middle of placing my order and was left on hold and forgotten about again. Waited a few minutes, called back and again, the phone just rang and rang with it never being answered. What the hell? I called the Papa John's on Sepulveda and placed my order with them. Very disappointing, I always had great service from them up until now.

For the most part I love papa. However on more than one occasion I have received my pizza a bit cold. I have stated this fact several times. However it still happens from time to time.

Not that great pizza and not really fresh dough. You can tell that the dough was heavily processed.

Carlos, the assistant manager was excellent and provided great customer service! Made sure our order was delivered on time for our family holiday party as promised. He was very polite when I had to call back to modify my order and the delivery guy (sorry didn't catch his name) was very accommodating as well.

This place is beyond disgusting. For anyone who has only ordered delivery from this restaurant, at least you were spared the horror of seeing the filthy conditions from whence your pizza came. On the day that I went to pick up my online order not too long ago, the inside of Papa Johns resembled the aftermath of a powder keg explosion at the hands of the Pillsbury doughboy. Every square in of the restaurant, cash register included, was blanketed with a thick coating of flour, and the guy who walked up to the counter was also the same guy who was making the pizza without any gloves on. My pizza wasn't ready yet, but he took the cash that I handed to him and wiped his hands on his apron before walking back to prepare more dough (sans gloves). The sight of that alone was enough to turn me off to the idea of eating the pizza that was finally handed to me. I walked back to my building, and, when I was safely inside the elevator, I cracked open the box of pizza, and what I saw looked like something out of a horror movie. The undercooked cheese and meat were unappetizingly floating around on a sinking raft of squishy, pale dough and marinara sauce. I wanted to throw up. Instead of getting out of the elevator, I went all the way down to the parking garage and threw it in the dumpster where it belonged. Needless to say, that's the last time I ever ordered from Papa Johns again.

A consistently good pie and wings from this location. The Papa John's order tacker is a great tool . The delivery is always on time with the pie is also hot and tasty delivered by friendly drivers or if you pop into the to pick up a pie you'll receive friendly and hopeful service.

First of all, I ordered a completely normal pepperoni pizza. It looked like it had no toppings on it, when I called to ask about this, they let me know the pepperoni pizza was under the cheese. It's called a TOPping! And instead of owning up to this weirdness, they told me they have always done this, it's the "Papa John's" way.. what? I never I thought I would need to specify where to put toppings and the fact that they treated me like the weirdo made for a bad experience. Steer clear.

Yessss, they made it exactly like I ordered. Half veggie, half bbq-chicken. I call this. #maythefourthcravingsbewithyou. 😉

Card machine didn't work after ordering a pizza, the associate told me "you don't have any money", I found this response surprising. After asking him to swipe the card again he refused, at which point he then told me to come around the register and he will show me "you don't have any money" After then swiping the card again, surprise surprise it went through. When telling him that he should use different terminology when the machine doesn't work he continued to tell most of the time "the customers has no money". I was served by the lovely Carlos who refers to me as 'man' on the receipt.

I've always had a good experience with this store. I always do takeout and get daily deals with the app which I recommend because the points add up to free pizza.
