The food here is pretty good. We ordered Pho, sandwich, chicken egg rolls and vermicelli. Take awhile for the food to come out but it’s worth it. Chicken egg rolls are surprisingly taste very like pork egg rolls. Recommend this place if you want to try Vietnamese food in Little Tokyo.

Small cozy, busy and delicious place where you can have a nice bowl of pho. Finally a place where social workers from #dtla can get a hug for their souls. I love this plaza! I had the weekday special phó chín well done brisket. It's was delicious! The weather was perfect too. 1st cold day in downtown L.A this fall. The weekday special uncles a $3 drink and egg roll. The drink I chose was the blueberry lemongrass limeade. Really refreshing.
Please note that you order 1st and then you get seated. Their menu is in the front register and on taped on the wall. ????

It's a little tricky to find, but well worth the hunt. It's actually up on the second floor. I tried the spicy lemongrass beef soup, #2 spicy, and it was perfectly seasoned. The broth is sooo delish!! Generous portion, great value!! Quaint atmosphere. The staff was friendly, and our meal came quite soon after ordering. Definitely recommend this place!!!

My sandwich came with a little bit of bone broth to dip it in and that is awesome.

I got take out and the portions are small, the pho broth was very good though.
I always leave happy when I eat here. The food is good and filling. They have order in and takeout. A restroom is available for customers. If you use a mobility aid the restaurant is spacious enough to maneuver comfortably. Be warned! This place closes down after lunch to prepare for dinner service. The restaurant doesn’t have its own parking, but there are several parking lots in the area. They don’t validate for any of the lots.

The pho and spring rolls here are so good. I’ve tried quite a few place around downtown and this has been the best pho ive had so far. The broth is full of flavor and the beef is tender and high quality. The shrimp in the spring rolls tasted fresh. Overall I was very happy I finally tried this place. I’ll be back.

I can tell that every detail of the decor and style was meticulously thought out. The food is soooo good and fresh. We didn’t have high hopes bc the place was empty, but that changed as soon as we took our first bites of our bun noodles, banh mi, veggie spring rolls, and strawberry yakult. This place is great for vegans and vegetarians as menu items are clearly labeled, and the options are delicious! I always get tofu spring rolls/fresh rolls whenever I go to Vietnamese restaurants, and these from Vui Ve were the best I’ve had in a while. The marinated cucumber and crunchy fried rice paper inside are yummy and satisfying. I loved that there was a variety of drinks to choose from as well.
My only suggestion would be to add signage indicating that you order at the counter first; it wasn’t clear right away as we entered. It might be easier to hand menus and let people sit and then come back to order as well, since we had to stand in front of the register squinting at the menu propped up on an easel.

Ordered the pho combo, spicy. I don't know if it's the fresh basil or the chili oil, but it was better than expected.

Today I ordered here for the first time for take out! I had the Braised Pork Belly Banh Mi and the Spring Roll Sampler. Everything was packaged with care and looked so beautiful. Not to mention that it was absolutely delicious! The little cup of broth on the side of the Banh Mi totally makes it. Keep making great food! I will definitely be ordering again :)
Dietary restrictions: There were modifiers on their menu to cater toward different allergies when ordering online.

Hidden Gem! Great lunch deals and the soup is super flavourful. Also I love the choice of music there
Was really hungry and wanted to try this place out, did not get the chance! There’s a door guy threatening anyone walking inside to “order”. They wouldn’t offer me a table, wouldn’t offer me use of the bathroom, nothing. They are militant and rude. Expecting customers to order food standing before they are offered a table is crazy. Terrible customer service.
