If you’re Vietnamese and want authentic Viet food, I wouldn’t recommend this spot. I ordered Bun Bo Hue & as you see in photo, the bowl was filled with onions/cilantro. So much more than noodles! I questioned why there were little noodles and the lady said that’s their portion and the kids meal is even smaller. I took all the meat and onions out of the bowl to see how much noodles there really was & its literally one spoon full. They charged me additional $3.60 for extra noodles, then brought me “Pho” noodles instead of the bun bo noodles lol. I was still hungry after eating this, I went to another restaurant for a different meal 😃 the rice plate my man got was good though.

am i tripping or does this spot have korean flavours donning a vietnamese name tag; the banana coffee tasted like korean banana milk tipped into viet coffee, musky but rather light with a odd little grit to it. the spring roll sampler is a concept i just adore but it was definitely upstaged by the peanut sauce, more umami with just a smidge of nutty in a thick paste that was suspiciously gochujang adjacent.. the rolls themselves were fine, fresh and small but mostly just a vessel for the sauce; the shop itself was rather empty, seeming more of a take-out darling, making it a quite the cozy visit 👌

I love this place. Get the lunch special all the time. Great size, with a drink, and the food is so good. Well seasoned tender chicken and flavorful sauces.

I was always curious about sandwiches sold at pho restaurants, and this place was my first. I will say it was a fantastic sandwich. I enjoyed every crispy bite with all the veggies in the sandwich followed by the rich savory fat taste of the pork belly. The service was pretty good too, I chose a table that was “dirty”, unintentionally, and the server cleaned it before I could mention it and bought me ice cold water as if he knew I was thirsty. Everything about this little hidden spot, on the second floor of the mall, was great.
One of my favorite spots in the neighborhood. Great selection of food, cozy and clean interior and the staff are always kind.

After walking around for 30 minutes trying to find a restroom, I found this restaurant on the second floor, and it wasn't busy at all in the afternoon. I ordered a $3 coke from the touchscreen menu and waited at a table, used the restroom and the drink came out right away. The workers were also very friendly and all said thank you when we left!
Totally recommended if you want a drink and/or the restroom! I don't understand how an outdoor mall can operate with no public bathrooms- it's unacceptable. Also FYI if you want a different drink like fruit tea, it's about $6, the food prices were reasonable too.

If you're ever in Little Tokyo and crave something other than Japanese food. Stop by Vui Ve and try the beef Bánh mi with dip you will not regret it. Their Pho is good as well. I highly recommend it. Price is $10-$20 ..

First time to Little Tokyo. We walked around and after checking everything out decided on this spot. We were glad we did! Daughter said her rice vermicelli salad was the best she has ever had! I had Pho it was definitely in my top 3! The broth was phenomenal! My noodle were over done but I still ate that whole bowl!!!! I had the passion fruit drink it was so refreshing! We went back a second time while on our trip just to eat there!!!! Second time they were so busy with one waiter so we had some issues with getting food and drinks but we understood because it was busy with one waiter. Great place would go again

Really disappointing experience. The food was quite expensive, with a whopping $14 for my bahn mi. Flavorless meat. My wife got a $15 Bun bowl that was really bad. Microwavable egg roll and just not a good flavor all around. With the amount of high quality Asian joints nearby, I do not recommend Vui Ve
