Outstanding serive: our server , Carlos, was so fun and he made our day extra special wih helping me surprise my husband with his birthday. The trio singing was fun and hilarious.Great Food: One of the reviews made me doubtful about the food since it mentioned "lack of flavor", "too lemony"... everyone has a different taste! If you LOVE flavors and "lemony" taste, then the food is for you! If you don't like "lemony" taste, then the food is not for you, it doenst mean it's bad!...read full review
My friends and I came to dinner at Polanquito in December. It has been one of the most pleasant dining experiences in LA that we all have had in a long time. The entire team was incredibly kind, warm and hospitable. We chose a few of their recommendations, like the appetizer trio (I think) with esquite and ceviche, which were all delicious. Although the dinner was enjoyable, I was surprised by the special Valentine's Day menu. The selection was excellent, but I had not anticipated the high cost of $95 per person plus a 20% gratuity. The quality of the food was good, but it was clear that the restaurant was unprepared for the Valentine's Day rush. The meal took over an hour to be served, which made for an interesting experience. Given my overall experience, I do not believe I will return in the future.
