Regalade is a gorgeous new French bistro and a welcome neighborhood gem. The ambiance is beautifully set and inviting, with warm lighting, candles, music, and a simple aesthetic that feels both high-energy and perfect for a date or small family dinner. The restaurant is often packed, creating a fun, loud atmosphere that feels reminiscent of a New York City spot.
The menu is outstanding, featuring French bistro food prepared to perfection. Classics like steak frites, where the steak melts in your mouth, escargot, beef tartare, and French onion soup are all fantastic. The restaurant has a unique emphasis on seafood and a great raw bar, with standout dishes like branzino, yellowtail crudo, and moules. Other highlights include the addictive potatoes gratin, truffle mac and cheese, brussels sprouts, and a baguette with the perfect crunchiness. The burger paired with next-level truffle fries is a yummy surprise, and the salad verte is one of the most flavorful salads. For dessert, the pavlova, chocolate mousse, and apple tart with vanilla ice cream are epic, delicious, and not too sweet.
Service is excellent, attentive, warm, thoughtful, and friendly. The owner, manager, wait staff, sommelier, and servers are all wonderful and helpful, ensuring everyone is enjoying themselves. Regalade is a sister restaurant to Oste next door, sharing the same owners. It is a marvelous dining experience and a highly recommended spot.
