Salmon Double Trouble - If you are a salmon lover, you will absolutely love this sushi roll! There is raw salmon on the top & baked salmon in the middle. Love it they add the jalapeno on top... just add a little kick.

Roll Call, located at 3183 Wilshire Blvd Suite 186 in Los Angeles, is a restaurant known for its consistently good sushi and flavorful dishes. Many customers praise the freshness and quality of the fish, highlighting the flavorful salmon, shrimp, and avocado that enhance their rolls. Popular options include the Naughty Ninja, La Toxica, and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, which are often described as refreshing, crunchy, and bursting with flavor, especially when paired with spicy mayo and eel sauce. The restaurant offers a variety of menu items, including classic rolls, poke bowls, chicken teriyaki bowls, and katsu chicken bowls, all of which are noted for being delicious and well-prepared. Portions are generous, and the food tastes fresh, making it a favorite spot for sushi lovers.
However, some drawbacks include the simplicity of the classic rolls, which can be quite bland in flavor, and the miso soup, considered by some as not worth the price. The restaurant is also a cell phone dead zone and does not offer Wi-Fi, which can be inconvenient for some guests. Despite this, the overall experience remains positive, with many customers returning for the quality food and friendly service. The restaurant is accessible via various delivery apps like DoorDash, UberEats, and Grubhub, making it easy to enjoy their offerings at home. Although there have been some recent inconsistent visits, the majority of reviews suggest Roll Call is a enjoyable place for sushi and Asian-inspired dishes, especially for those seeking flavorful, fresh options in Koreatown.
