great amazing food, loud yet cozy place to have our favorite dishes. Duck over rice and I had thai yentafo noodle soup. Not a lot of place have those dishes. Yentafo is a seafood with shrimp, fish balls, squid, spinach, garlic with tofu and pink rice flat noodles. The crab cakes and the pad ka pow, are delicious. I recommend the red/green curry, and combination fried rice. But if looking for something spicy, salty, sour try the shrimp or beef salad.

This place is so good, it almost feels like you're in Thailand! Great atmosphere, friendly service, delicious food and good prices. I've been there many times and it is consistently good. Last night we ordered koo chai spinach dumplings. I had the pad kee mow and my friend had the other flat noodles with beef and broccoli. We also had a huge bowl of tom kha goong. Creamy coconut soup with shrimp. I highly recommend it. 🎉🎉🎉

Its Thai comfort food at its best! I just wish they have more parking spaces during busy days.

2.5 stars. The duck broth tasted like something I could’ve bought at H Mart. The Thai tea was lukewarm (enough to melt the ice and still be warm); and tasted like it was prepared in a container used for something else. Something more savory. It left a discordant aftertaste. Maybe it’s a loss leader cuz the flavor and texture of the duck were also lacking. The actual staff is very attentive and accommodating. Honestly just go to Pa Ord (at least for the duck and Thai tea).

thai food is my favorite comfort meal, but I always struggle deciding between noodles or rice...so I end up getting both! Lots of other reviews mentioned the Pad Kee Mao and Tom Kha Kai, so I tried the vegetarian versions of both, and OMG SO FLAVORFUL. I really appreciate when places put love into building the flavors for their veg options, so I will definitely be coming back. Sit outside under the incredible (real) neon sign to chase that Thai night market vibe.

Ordered food to go. We ordered medium spice and could barely eat the food. It was so hot! And we have a high tolerance for spice. Won’t likely be returning.

Sanamluang has been our family favorite restaurant for generations! Parents, kids and everyone. Best of all is the consistency in food, service and family providing this for more than 30 years since we have been coming here. Looking forward to the next 30!

I specified vegan (twice) but my server showed no recognition. I was pointed to the vegetarian section of the menu, only a handful of items. I picked fried rice with tofu, Chinese broccoli and tomatoes. A previous review said there wasn't much broccoli so I paid $2 for extra broccoli. Should have ordered extra tofu too. A lot of oily rice, two uncooked slices of tomatoes, a few chunks of tofu. Wasn't horrible but I won't be back.
