Gob smacked to learn that Sun Hai is no more. My favorite Chinese Restaurant in LA. Eat there frequently for many years. Thanks to the employees -- waitress and chef -- always kind -- always good food. Please come back.
It opens at 5:30 for dinner, and at 5:10 there was already a line of like 50 people. Luckily, my family was second on the waitlist and only had to wait about 30 minutes for a table.

If it is true I am truly very sad to hear about the sun Hai inn closing. I used to live close by the sun Hai inn restaurant and went on a regular basis for years. From the amazing smoky fried rice to those pork chops and orange chicken to the pan fried noodles it was tops I even drove miles to go back after moving out into the valley.
