When you go in here, there's definitely an emphasis on the lodge vibe. It feels almost super saturated with wood and elk heads and any number of souvenirs from the forest. The lighting is dim, which is relaxing. Empty, it might look a little on the nose, but when it's full of people, it feels just right. Pickle Beer, its what you should be getting when you come here. Maybe what added to this experience was when I had parked in the neighborhood behind the bars alley, in walking up the front entrance off of Los Feliz, the Pickle Beer van pulled up at the same time. That just peeked my intrigue right there and then. Plus, how can you not stop by a place named like this.
