A friend brought me to Taqueria Los Anaya this weekend for lunch and recommended the NY Steak plate, with beans and rice. The steak was done perfectly for me (medium rare) and slathered with caramelized onions and garlic. The meat was tender and juicy, spiced just right. I agreed with my friend that it is among the best steaks in LA. Caldo de pollo was NOT good at all. It was like the type of chicken soup you’d get at whole foods. I havent tried anything else but will return and see what the rest of the food is like.
Excellent happy hour! Service was excellent - attentive, but we didn’t feel rushed or hovered over. You can’t get happy hour items to go (which is totally normal), but their daily food specials can be purchased to go.
Queso fundido with chorizo was perfect as were the margaritas and I loved the churros. Excited to try other items next time!
