Best food in Los Angeles!!! I want to eat here every night. Well, not on Mondays. They’re closed on Mondays.
Delicious food and wonderful staff! 10/10!
A top restaurant in LA for me. Hummingbird has some of the most creative and delicious handrolls and crostatas I’ve ever tasted. Their food will make Peruvian folks excited to see something familiar and those unfamiliar very curious. The service is laid back and easygoing — I’ve always been impressed with how quick the food came out. I’ll never get over the wonderful atmosphere, purple corn tea, and orange salmon handroll. A must visit in LA!

The portions are generous, and every dish is authentic and delicious. The staff is friendly, attentive, and makes guests feel very welcome. For authentic Peruvian food, this is definitely the place to go. Every bite is AMAZING. It is a memorable dining experience, and the chefs take a lot of pride in their work. The spicy crab fried rice, the yellowtail handroll with lemongrass and ginger, the opal seared tiradito, and the passion fruit panacotta are all so good. The 0 proof cocktails are amazing. The vibe, the music, and the ambiance are incredible. It is a nice, cozy spot with delicious food. The chef's choice menu is so good. The Hummingbird Door quietly gets everything right. The menu is focused, the ingredients are fresh, and every dish feels carefully thought out. The tiradito is beautifully balanced with bright acidity. The seafood tostada is incredibly fresh, with great texture and just the right amount of seasoning. The chaufa is the biggest surprise of the meal, with perfectly cooked rice, generous seafood, and that unmistakable wok flavor. The cocktails are relaxing. The service is warm and attentive, and the atmosphere makes it easy to settle in and enjoy a long meal. This is the kind of restaurant to recommend without hesitation and immediately start planning the next visit.
