The rooftop bar has an unbeatable view—absolutely stunning, especially at night. The cocktails were well-crafted and definitely a highlight of the experience. Unfortunately, the service didn’t live up to the setting. Despite the bar being far from busy, it took some effort to get the waitress’s attention. The food was overpriced and underwhelming. This was an excellent restaurant on top of the Kimpton Wilshire. It had a beautiful view, with a pool and lounge chairs. The food was delicious. And the service was outstanding, could not be beat. We recommend just about anything on the brunch menu, especially the French toast.
Stayed at this hotel and food/service on rooftop were great. We had a nice salad and the tacos were killer good, as were truffle fries. Later I ordered room service and huge disappointment when $36 got me a small bowl of hummus with three small shrimp and a paper cup of tea (which I found out after was free in the hotel floor lounge).
