The York Reviews
I came on a Friday, the music was great! I had a Lemon Drop Martini... it was ok, I've had better. I also got the chicken wings, they were sweet n spicy... delicious, loved them!
The food quality has been declining for the past couple years. The wings use be what drove me there. Now the wings are small dry and taste like deep fried in fish oil. Sorry to say I keep going less and less.
The York is a great stop for some good food n drinks. Atmosphere is amazing and they host a bunch of soccer games during weekends. Staff is super friendly!
Forza Milan!
The York is a casual bar that offers a variety of drinks, including the popular Mother Earth Cali Creamin, which tastes like a creamsicle. The bar also serves Apple cider, although the Apple Pie cider was sold out during one visit. The staff is friendly and attentive, known for making a mean Bloody Mary. With a lively atmosphere, The York is a great spot to catch a live band or watch soccer games, attracting fans from various teams. The L-shaped bar made from South American hardwood encourages conversation, and the menu is displayed on large chalkboards hanging on bricked walls. The high ceilings and exposed beams create a welcoming vibe that feels unpretentious. On Wednesdays, there is a weekly jam session, adding to the entertainment. The food is good, with favorites like chicken wings that are sweet and spicy. Although the Cuban sandwich is no longer available, loyal customers still enjoy dishes like cauliflower wings and hand-cut fries. Overall, The York remains a beloved place for locals to meet friends, celebrate special occasions, and enjoy good food and drinks. Happy Hour runs Monday to Friday from 3 to 6 pm, featuring $6 Beer, Wells, and Wine, and the bar is dog-friendly.
