My god. INCREDIBLE KOREAN BBQ SPOT currently popular with Korean locals as well as your favorite kpop stars. BTS (V), Lisa from Blackpink, Aespa, and even JYP himself visit here often when they are in town, and I promise you the flavors and taste here is far superior to the chains you all know in Koreatown. Toad House - 두꺼비집 is a hidden gem on the edge of K-Town, offering traditional Korean BBQ with a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant is known for its juicy 삼겹살, which guests must definitely try. The thick and well-balanced pork belly is complemented perfectly by the impressive green onion kimchi and stir-fried kimchi. The hot pepper paste soup, or 고추장찌개, remains amazing and pairs well with the meat. The side dishes, like tofu and mook, can be replenished and are also delightful. The owner is very friendly, funny, and makes everyone feel at home. The restaurant has a nice patio for outdoor seating and is open until midnight. For over 20 years, this quiet place has not changed, making it perfect for reminiscing about the old days while enjoying delicious meals. Although it is not easy to find, Toad House is recognized as one of the best KBBQ spots in LA, and the food will not disappoint.
