Just bit into what-I-thought-was my Mushroom burrito, only to discover steak in it. After being a vegetarian for 20 years, this was thoroughly disappointing and repulsive. Pls pay closer attention to your orders and repeat something back if it wasn’t clear. I cannot stomach visiting here again, unfortunately.

Smaller than the full restaurant, but just as tasty. I had the cauliflower taco and carne asada—both flavorful. Quick service and plenty of seating around. Good for a snack while browsing the market. Tacos travel well if you’re on the go.

Second time eating there. First time had a bowl with pork and rice and it was delicious. Now got burrito with shrimps and it’s okay, not a flavor bomb. Disappointed. Didn’t like it at all. Also they charge 5$ for a small glass of aqua Fresca which is nothing special and no refills. Also, glass was plastic and didn’t seem clean. Not sure why Danny charges so much for such “non excellent” drink and such small quantity. Honestly, it seems to me that place just about “the name” not the actual substance. Me and my husband decided not to eat there again. To compare - ELL pollo loco way delicious and way cheaper, and their drinks are refillable and actually their strawberry agua Fresca tastes the same. Sorry Danny, fan of yours but not your food. His donuts are also OKAY. I had better donuts. Style over substance.

This was the worst taco I’ve had in over 5 years of living in LA.
The shrimp taco had a strong fishy smell, and the side corn tasted spoiled.
To make matters worse, they even took the order of someone behind me before mine.
Please, do yourself a favor and avoid this place.

Pretty tasty and fresh options for a pescetarian/vegetarian. Plus it’s Danny so happy to support.

Why did I just pay $23 for 2 tacos? Listen, if they were yummy I wouldn’t take the time to warn future guests. The steak meat is tiny and tough, like my MIL. Not good. I ordered the Beef Barbacoa Taco because it has cheese. It’s as if a hobbit sneezed a spec of cheese. I love you Danny, but the standard for this place has vastly gone down hill.

Just bad. Street corn tasted sour. Cauliflower tacos were bad. Everything was bad.
Very VERY rude! Left in tears. Please hire personnel that is kind and knows basic courtesy and respect.

I liked it but for what I expected it was pretty overpriced! Like $6 for one taco

I’ve never tried Trejo’s Tacos after being in LA for so long, and came here on a little work break at the Original Farmer’s Market (one of my favorite places in LA)! I ordered the Mushroom Asada Taco and Baja Fish, and while the mushroom asada was very tasty and warm and vegan-friendly, the Baja fish was sadly not! It looked great and had a lot of great fresh toppings, though the flour tortilla it was served on was cold? Also the fish seemed to remind me of one of those frozen “fish sticks” you ate as a kid, as there was more of the lettuce topping on top of it versus fish to fill the whole taco. It was quite disappointing, and never in my life had I been served a cold taco… especially since LA is known for some great Cali-Mex and fish tacos! I was happy when they made it for me within 5 minutes… but it was unacceptable for a $15 lunch that should be served hot when ordering in person. I had to leave for work so couldn’t alert their team in time.

Tried Trejo’s Tacos at the Original Farmers Market, honestly, the food didn’t live up to the hype. It wasn’t bad, just average. Tacos lacked flavor and punch. That said, the staff was really friendly and the food came out quickly, which I appreciated. It’s more of a trendy stop than a must-visit for taco lovers. Worth a try if you’re curious, but don’t expect to be blown away.
