UOVO Mid-Wilshire offers incredible food with the best pasta quality in LA, featuring pasta shipped in from Italy. The Ragu is especially special, and no other Bolognese can compare. The tasting menu provides an unforgettable experience with off the charts quality and care in presentation and preparation. The yellowtail and arugula salad, broccolini, cauliflower, and charred mushrooms are superb, with pasta dishes that are indescribably delicious. The wine selection and stemware are the best in the country. The atmosphere is cool yet warm and industrial, business casual. Service from the manager and servers is outstanding, attentive, and welcoming. There is free validated parking in the structure next to it. The only issue is seating can be hard to get a table, often ending up at the bar without backrests, which can be uncomfortable and noisy. Some suggest upgrading to a local sourced olive oil.
