Great accommodations since it was raining outside. Eating inside definitely provided a cozier environment. Loved the food, service, and our greeters. Definitely worth coming back!
Excellent venue to enjoy pregame tailgate with friends. Excellent service all the way around, from the friendly hostess, to the food staff, the bartenders, and finally the bus staff - they are accommodating and attentive. The restaurant is centrally located in the heart of the USC campus - an easy walk to the Coliseum.
We had a reservation for the Friday night game and had Susie as our waitress and she was AMAZING!! Such a sweet person and great service
Food has been declining. Enchiladas were cold- the burners did not keep the food warm. This is our second time this season. The food isn't as good as last year and the ability to keep food hot has been a challenge. The food options are poor in quality. The items seem to be greasy. The fruit is not of good quality. The melon was warm and soggy. The meal was disappointing. The bar ran out of tequila and vodka.
I loved the service and the atmosphere. For the price, I thought the food was okay. The carne asada was very good but we didn't care for the enchiladas. The guac was very good and I liked the corn station. The dessert was lacking. I understand that $80 included unlimited alcoholic beverages but for those who didn't drink alcohol, it was not a good value. I would try it again because it was a great atmosphere and I loved being on campus, perhaps a different menu offering would be better.
As an on campus tailgate experience game day, dinning at Figs is superb. Reasonable priced, good food and patio seating allows for enjoying the excitement of game tailgating in a comfortable environment with plenty of amenities.
awesome all around. The buffet was great and the service was phenomenal. I am sure it has been tough for restaurants due to staffing shortages but the experience was great all around.
Effective Sep 2024 Moreton Fig (restaurant) was changed to Moreton Fig Cafe, now a fixed-price self-serve buffet & hosted bar rather than a full service sit-down restaurant, with significant hike in price ($65 + mandatory 23% grat + tax =$88 otd); may be a value for big drinkers but too expensive for non-drinkers as the buffet food (fair, not a large selection) was not worth the cost. Reservations only available on OpenTable (you cannot call them direct anymore), payment required at booking, and no refunds, no provision to accept Alumni discount card.
Our waiter is such a wonderful server. He is attentive, transparent, and thoughtful. He's an African American gentleman, muddle-aged, and taller than I am, but I wouldn't put him at 6 feet. He's perhaps 5 ft. 9 or 10. Also, the food was delicious.
For Trojan fans or campus visitors, [Restaurant Name]'s campus location is a top choice. While the food may be a bit pricey, the convenience of its location and consistently friendly staff make it worth it. Highly recommended for a satisfying meal with a side of Trojan spirit.

Lovely table service from both Scott and (I think) Chris. Nice quiet table as well, much appreciated. Food was excellent but I thought my fish was just a bit overcooked.
Please introduce or at least vary your vegetarian options! Bring back Truffle Mac and Cheese! Take off your mushroom pasta. It is not as delicious as you may think. Thank you.
Terrible experience but our waitress was great. She had warned our party the kitchen was backed up. Our table of 3, ordered salads and fries. 50 minutes later we finally received our food. I felt so bad for our waitress. She was great. The manager did comp our meals and appreciate that.
The food is good, but service was slow and poorly timed We ordered an appetizer that arrived with our meals. They need to work on this.
I always enjoy a meal at Moreton Fig on the USC campus. From business lunches to Happy Hour before a game, Moreton Fig does not disappoint. The menu is inventive and delicious, and the staff is so friendly and welcoming. Even if you are not on the USC campus, it's worth a visit!
