I called in the order for the Egusi with Goat Absolutely delicious!!
This was my very first time trying Authentic Fufu & Egussi soup. It was absolutely incredible. I have no complaints. The beef was so soft and tender. The flavor was very unique. If you’re in the area and have been wanting to try Fufu & Egussi because of TikTok or social media, this is the place to go.

Vicky's Bubbly Cafe is a kitchen takeout spot located in the Laurel Kitchen building. The place offers plates and utensils so customers can eat at a park nearby. The people are really nice, and the atmosphere is good, though it is in a hallway. The food is described as TOP TIER, with big rations and well-priced. The egusi and fufu is the best ever had, and the Fufu & Egussi soup is absolutely incredible, with soft and tender beef and a very unique flavor. The combo meat, a stew with tomato sauce served with joll of rice and fried banana, is compared to mechado. The mixed pepper soup tastes like really good papaitan. The grilled chicken tastes like peri peri chicken. The asun and grilled chicken are alright, and the chicken pie is good. For those not as adventurous, the combo of stewed protein with joll of rice and fried bananas or Egusi soup with the swallow (fufu or eba garri) is recommended. The nkwobi and isi-ewu are anticipated. Customers should order ahead of time, at least 24 hours before pick up. Street parking is available, with two pick up spots in the parking lot. This is a solid gem in the whole LA county and possibly in the West.
