Visit only if you want to experience great authentic Mexican home cooking at an affordable price. It's like your auntie from Mexico just blessed you with a visit and wants to cook for you in this small but intimate space. One of my favorite spots in Boyle Heights for comida casera.Food is delicious and staff is very friendly.I have tried their chilaquiles, sopes, tacos and quesadillas. Everything has been delicious! Their tacos and quesadillas use tortillas a mano. The quesadilla is huge, not you're average size quesadilla.Their salsa roja is spicy and very tasty. I wish I took a picture... This place had the best Chilequiles I've had. I added the carne asada steak along with it and it didn't disappoint. I'll be back for sure next time I'm going thru LA.
