Ying Hana Teppanyaki is a restaurant that serves fresh, quality food, with a focus on hibachi dishes. The best Hibachi spot in the hood, the menu includes steak, shrimp, noodles, miso soup, beef noodle soup, California rolls, gyoza, edamame, fries calamari, and shrimp tempura. The hibachi filet mignon is spectacular, served with perfectly browned grilled broccoli, celery, carrot, and zucchini. The fried rice is alright, with bits of scrambled eggs. The miso soup is as expected with seaweed and tofu. However, the California roll threw one diner off due to pickled daikon radish instead of cucumber. The staff is attentive and friendly. The food is made fresh, and lunch prices are affordable. The restaurant seems to focus on takeout, as food is served in takeout containers even for dine-in. There is plenty of seating and a selection of sauces. The price is very reasonable for the portions served. The quality of meats is delicious. While the sushi is not recommended, the hibachi chicken and meats are excellent. This place is a must for anyone craving Japanese food.
