“This is a must go place. It was our first time but we can't recommend this place enough. Amazingly delicious food, very good portions, great vibe/atmosphere nice touches, nicely designed. The owner welcomed us and served us, and we had a very nice conversation too. Please guys go and visit to keep this place up and running. What would we do without a place like this in the bay.“
“I love this place. The food is crazy delicious! I recommend to order wings and Ttokbokki. The employees are always nice and friendly. However, I have to wait at least 30-40 mins to get the food. Besides that, I highly recommend this place. Also it’s easy to park“
“My colleague wanted pho for her birthday dinner because she was craving so I happened to find this place in downtown SJ; a plus, it opens late compared to the other pho spots. The ambiance is clean, modern, and spacious. There is even a bar for drinks, had I known I would have had drinks here before going to a bar. There wasn't many people dining during the week but our server, Kathy, was quite attentive to us even though we asked her to come back three times since my friend and I were catching up. The food is very delicious and portions were fairly sized. For appetizers, it was our first time having taro egg rolls and they were delicious although I wish there were more than just 3 (priced $8). I ordered brisket pho and my friend ordered wonton soup with yellow noodle. My broth was delicious; clear and not cloudy. The meat portions were fairly portioned in my pho and I was happy with it! I ordered chicken chow fun for take out for my husband. He said it was good but needed more chicken, so next time, I think its better to have in person rather than ordering to go. Overall, service and food were decent and better than many of pho places around. KV Noodle is probably one of the top ones in downtown SJ. Thank you to our server Kathy who was great and surprised my friend with a smoothie for her birthday. Exceptional service! I will definitely be back :)“
“It’s the best pizza in San Jose, especially the Detroit pizza! I want to leave a picture, but I keep eating the pizza before I remember to take one! It’s a smaller space if you’re dining in with a large party, so do keep that in mind, but you’re near San Pedro Square where you have plenty of space to sit and eat among friends and get drinks.“
“The Indian flavor Pizzas are really good. We have ordered a bunch of variety over time and all the pizzas have been super tasty. My favorite is Achari Gobi and panner/chicken Tikka. really like their spicy curry pizza too. We have also ordered a bunch of Pizzas both Indian flavors and regular ones like Chicken and bacon on white sauce, Meat lovers for my office team lunches. Everyone liked it a lot(Mix of all nationals), and it has become our go-to place for ordering lunch for team events. It is good that they have Vegan and Gluten-free options too to accommodate people with different dietary requirements.“
“If you’re craving Korean Fried Chicken then head over to Kokodek, it is phenomenal! Chicken breading is extra crisp, not too thick, and the sauce flavors are great and well complimented by garnishes. Don’t sleep on the spam musubi, it’s bursting with flavor. Staff are incredibly welcoming ?“
“During my recent visit to Iniburgers in Santa Clara, I was treated to an outstanding culinary experience. The burgers I indulged in were a delightful explosion of flavors – the impeccably cooked patty, fresh toppings, and special sauce harmonized perfectly. What distinguishes Iniburgers is not only the outstanding cuisine but also their meticulous attention to detail and commitment to quality ingredients. The staff showcased friendliness and knowledge, enhancing the overall enjoyment of my dining experience. The tasteful decor and comfortable ambiance of the restaurant make it an ideal setting for any occasion. I wholeheartedly recommend my delightful experience to fellow food enthusiasts. Hats off to the team at Iniburgers for orchestrating a fantastic culinary journey. I'm eagerly looking forward to my next visit to explore more of their enticing menu!“
“The cocktails are delicious and the food is hella good - I’ve stopped in just for their yummy burgers and tater tots! You can play pool, watch a game, or chat with the chill patrons and bartenders. Easy parking and great prices too! I hella ❤️ The Triple Threat!“
“I was disheartened when the Cupertino location closed down so I was delighted to find this one which opened up right after. The great thing about this place is the numerous flavors; there are 22 flavors which they place in 3 categories of classics, dry rub, and Asian fusion. My personal favorites are the garlic pepper and the Thai chili. If you like spicy, I don't think even the spicy ones have much of a kick to them, sadly. The other mediocre part of this place are the dipping sauces. As for the sides, the garlic noodles are a must.“
“Got their medium veg pizza and a medium chipotle pizza . Really liked both of them . The veg on the pizza was fresh and crunch . For the chicken pizza there was a generous portion of chicken on the pizza . It was nice and juicy . Will definitely be visiting again . Also the owner was very welcoming and friendly . This will be my to go place in the future“
“Food is delicious! taste like home made, very flavorful and authentic. Jini gives you a very welcome service and dedication. Definitely looking forward to coming back. Her Kimbap is phenomenal and Tteokbokki with cheese and mandu is sooo good.“
“I want to give this restaurant another try. I rated it four stars because the food I ordered wasn't particularly delicious, but based on reviews, it might have been because I didn't choose one of their specialties. If it tastes better next time, I'll update my review.“
“Trying this place for the first time. Just got home with my pizza. I'll definitely be back. Ordered a medium 1/2 pepperoni & black olive the other half veggie deluxe. The pizza had fresh toppings and a great crust & sauce. I highly recommend trying them out.“
“I live in the South Side of San Jose. So many places to eat and munch. Good old Mountain Mikes Pizza at this location did a BEAUTIFUL, COMPLETE MAKEOVER and you can tell OWNERSHIP has changed, this place used to be runned down and GHETTO OLD. The flooring was cracked and the carpet smelled sour and like cigarette smoke. Let the photos I am posting tell the story. They have a delicious yum yum NOM NOM Chicken Club pizza that is soooo delish and creamy and spicy and bacon bits on there it gives the pizza a new perspective on the taste buds in our mouth a nice satisfaction and the other Chicken Pizza called the Robbers Roost with black olives and white creamy sauce OMG! QUE RICO! The service was quick and professional and informative. I will make this one of my Pizza stops in San Jose. Just as good as the rest of the pizza places. I totally recommend you try it out.“
“All my Korean dreams come true and just down the street from me! Highly recommend you check them out and support their small business. We came here on a whim and I'm so glad we did. I've been craving Korean food and I'm so happy this place is so close to me. They've only been open for 6 months. Plenty of parking in the lot or on the street. The lady who took our order and served us is so cute and sweet. She doesn't speak English too well, but she was working hard and she was the only one front of the house! She takes care of all the patrons, the Doordash orders, the to go orders, refill waters, check you out, etc. We ordered the spicy braised short ribs, spicy beef stew, and the veggie pancake. Both were not spicy but tasted amazing! My husband said the stew is his fave soup of all time! The beef is shredded and it comes with glass noodles. I normally don't like seafood pancakes, but the veggie one here was fried to perfection. It was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The braised short ribs had great flavor. I do wish the meat was more tender, but it's still a solid dish. They don't skimp on the ban chan and they were all good. They'll give you refills if you ask too. This place isn't cheap for being on the East Side, but I think prices are on par with other Korean restaurants. We're happy to be back because the food was fire and staff were so friendly.“
“This is one of my go to places for pizza! It's also one of the first places I've enjoyed Indian fusion with my pizza, and I keep coming back to this location. I love the variety of offerings, the staff is always helpful and responsive, orders are made reliably on time, and I appreciate the rewards program and frequent promotions.“
“Great fast cheesy goodness!? Brynley customer service too. I'm going to be trying out the red stick they have a few flavors but actually there's a nice variety of stuff here. Can't have too many pizza joints in one neighborhood. !“
“Giving this place a 5 star review, because I think it deserves to be more of a 4.3/5.0 than a 4.0/5.0. The Nashville sandwich was pretty good, and the touch of adding Korean radish was an excellent spin. However it could have been better executed. Basic fried chicken was alright, the batter was very crispy but there was like a half inch thick layer of batter so it didn’t let the chicken truly shine. Overall a pretty good place though compared to other places in the area.“
“The food girl??? The food?? Omg the food is so good ugh. The salads are immaculate. You can't go wrong with their chicken chop salad, it's my go to fr. And it is so filling ‼‼ everything from there is filling. Basically, you get good tasting good quality food, for a good price and in a short amount of time. And I mean a short amount of time, I typically order a salad and tenders for me and a friend and it takes maybe 7ish minutes for the order to be ready. This place is easily my favorite chain. Also if u get the salad I recommend taking the chicken out then putting in the sauce and shaking the bowl. Then you have more room when shaking the bowl for the sauce to get all over the salad and if you can't finish it all then your chicken won't be as soggy. 10/10 highly recommend“
“Pizza Express prepared a meal for my team of 70 players and they were fantastic! They prepared individual pasta meals of Spaghetti -N- Meatballs and Chicken Alfredo. They also provided Bread Sticks and Salad. They delivered everything to the school, on time and gave us utensils as well. I highly recommend them and will definitely be using them in the future. Thanks Again Pizza Express!!!“
“Ordered combo #3. First time in, a lot of door dash going on. All the tables were full. Service was polite and quick. A little loud, just a big room, it echoes a bit, you can hear a lot of the conversations around your table. Pretty tasty, hot moist chicken, had one medium and one hot spice. Good kick, very edible.“
“Excellent service and tasty pizza. We wanted food for a large party. We even had food allergies amongst our group. The owner was very patient giving us suggestions for pizza and wings. He was very careful to take note of some of the food restrictions too. On the day of the event he delivered everything and all his suggestions were a hit. The food was delicious and vanished in no time. We were very pleased with the quality of service.“
“Great place to eat pizza and have a Michelada! The pizzas are delicious. The dough tastes as if it was home made. Fresh ingredients! We had pizza Al Pastor and BBQ Chicken. We went on a Sunday it wasn't crowded. They have booths and tables you can put together for a bigger group. They got our food out quick. Friendly staff! I will definitely come back during Happy Hour. Can't find a Michelada elsewhere for $5!“
“Yummy food here! We came to this place while visiting Amato's. Our daughter doesn't like cheese stake sandwiches but loves pizza. This place has a variety of pizzas and other goodies. The place looks clean and the staff is friendly. There's also plenty of parking as there is a parking lot. Price is reasonable for what you get. The food is delicious! You'll be coming back here to try some of their other pizza mash ups. They have several different types of pizzas. You'll be wanting to try more than one. I would recommend this place! It's delicious!“
“It's a typical Bonchon experience, with friendly and attentive service. However, the ambiance fell short of expectations. The interior was quite dark, which may have contributed to the lack of cleanliness. Unfortunately, all the tables were sticky, which detracted from the overall dining experience. Despite the good service, the uninviting atmosphere and uncleanliness were notable drawbacks.“
“Very good Vegan choices! Vegan crumbled sausage and vegan cheese and vegan pies. Vegan crust and also cauliflower crust choices! The flavors are spot on and very very delicious! Also has normal pizza choices for all the non-vegans and it has vegetarian choices! I believe it's a must come and see restaurant!“
“First time having their fried chicken wings. I ordered the original spicy wings and the cheeseling fries. It didn't disappoint. The wings were crispy and fresh. Good size of wings. The fries were crispy and good also. The service was good. The only thing is it takes a while for your order to be done. So if you're in a rush, call in advance. We dined in so we didn't mind.“
“I've had 99 Chicken a few times, YEARS AND YEARS ago!! Prior to today's visit, I've only had it via takeout. TBH, I wasn't ever really blown away by the food or quality. The only thing that stuck out from my visits was the salad bar open to dine-in customers- generous on the owner's part. After a fun filled morning in Santa Clara, I made the decision to stop by here and give 99 Chicken another go. Our family and I walked in for lunch and were immediately seated after confirming our party size. The menu is pretty straightforward. Each meal offered consists of 10pc chicken and you decide on what sauce(s) you'd like. There are 6 sauces available on top of the original [naked]: Spicy, Sauce, Honey, Honey Garlic, Soy Sauce, & Korean. Additional 5pc orders are available for an additional cost. If you are indecisive like myself or would prefer an assortment of flavors, order #5 or 8 is the way to go. Lunch for us 2 adults, 1 toddler ended up being the Combination Chicken. Between our 10pc chicken we are given 4 different sauces [one being naked]. Food: The chicken is served fresh and oh so very HOT! Every piece was thoroughly cooked- still very moist inside and contained a nice crunch at its exterior. The original [naked] could have used some flavoring [or maybe some ketchup!!] and the spicy sauce vs sauce tasted the same without any bit of heat. Honey was my favorite of the 4 variations provided in the combination. Salad bar isn't anything overly exciting but you can't beat that FREE.99 cost. Pickled radish cubes are the only things I ate but there are leafy greens, broccoli, and jalapeños provided. Rice is also complimentary so the business asks that you are mindful in only taking whatever you can consume. 3.5 overall. Staff could be a bit more welcoming as opposed to just being very dry and short but I bumped the rating to a 4 just because 99 Chicken is so generous with the complimentary salad bar.“
“One of my favorite Korean BBQ restaurants! Authentic Korean dishes. Great quality meats and sides. We ordered the Bar B Que pork belly and beef. The staff cooked it right at our table and it tasted so good. The Seafood Tofu soup and Seafood Pancake were delicious as well. All the Ban Chan sides were perfect. Soju and hot tea to drink.“
“by far the best chicken fried sandwich I ever had I went with the spicy not the death or Mega death sando, should have went with the mild or medium I was dying and I can eat some spicy stuff they're literally was 2 entire chicken breasts on this sandwich when I tell you you get your money's worth, you get your money's worth totally amazing coach to buy a chicken fried sandwich and waffle fries!“
“I recently tried the strawberry mint drink at this establishment, and it was absolutely delicious! The blend of flavors was perfect, and it left me feeling refreshed and satisfied. Additionally, I was delighted to discover that they have another location on the East Coast in Atlanta, GA. This is fantastic news for me, as I often travel to the East Coast for work. Looking forward to enjoying more of their tasty offerings in Atlanta! Highly recommend trying it out!“
“Great chicken I like the crunch chicken and the kimchi rice and soduc the shrimp is pretty good it's never crowded when I go and I think it's because they are located in the back and the front of the place hasn't opened for business so people might think it's closed but it does have good food“
“When we arrived, the restaurant was empty. And usually, that makes me a little worried. You know how you know a restaurant is good? When you leave absolutely nothing on your plate...... Not even crumbs! Mountain Mike's Pizza is the best. Period. Believe the hype - go taste for yourself!“
“Come here frequently it's usually good if you come before they close the chicken won't be good come around 2:30 it's freshest. If you get the older Indian man at cashier or the short Indian woman with the pretty eyes then you've won those are the best cashiers you don't have to repeat yourself. One time came here with a friend and while it was busy and they forgot my order so after 30 mins I asked where it was and they said I got it already but I never did. They refused to give me my food and I had to pay twice for the 6 piece tender which is not cheap. Other than that bad experience all my other visit have been perfect they usually give you like an extra piece if your nice. Nowhere to sit and eat your chicken but the area is nice.“
“This place is such a treat. The staff is friendly and helpful. The dining area is clean and I like that they have salt and pepper grinders. I really enjoyed the habanero sauce. Garlic noodles are delicious, but anything would also be great with white rice. I got 3 ribs in my entre with a side of fish. Will definitely be returning to try more of what they have to offer.“
“We absolutely loved the pizza here. It was our first time trying Detroit style pizza and we loved everything about it. I ordered through the local kitchen app. When we arrived we still had about another 15 minutes before our order. We ordered the Regular Square cheese pizza and the 6X8 with pepperoni. The crust on both pizzas was just amazing. The outer edges had the best crunch and the inside was soft and fluffy. So comforting. The sauce was just the right amount and tasted really good. My favorite was the pepperoni but the cheese was a close second. The pizza is a bit pricey but I believe you are getting a pizza made with top notch ingredients. We decided to eat our pizza there. There were plenty of tables to pick from and you can self serve for the utensils and napkins. The staff were really friendly. I recommend giving the square pie guys a try.“
“Not being Cambodian myself, I couldn't give a review as to how authentic the food is, but the yellow curry I had was very good! Nice big portions I was super full before I even finished.Interior was kinda cold,The Thai iced tea is also very tasty. I'll be back soon to try the red curry.“
“It's okay. Not my favorite, but not bad. Parking lot is awful though, so I don't bother getting food here except delivery. I've seen people park in the adjacent lot and walk over, which is probably less of a hassle than trying to park in the tiny spots. The fries are better than expected.Update: after a few years, this place has grown on me. They've improved their menu a lot too. A solid "Sunday chicken spot" as a fallback when the real thing is closed.“
“We ordered 5 large pizzas for a party and they were very delicious. They even opened the restaurant early upon our request to make sure the pizza is ready for pickup by 12:45 pm ,they usually open at 2 pm or 3 pm. Will definitely go there again.“
“came in today for the first time to try their fried chicken. Had the Really Garlic Chicken combo and have to say it was crazy delicious. Service was very friendly and the interior is clean and modern. Will definitely return to try other flavors of their chicken.“
“I recently dined at Chimek and was thoroughly impressed. The food was absolutely delicious, with each dish bursting with authentic Korean flavors. Soy Garlic chicken turned out to be the best dish of the meal. TTEOKBOKKI and the kimchi had just the right balance of spice and tanginess. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring a delightful dining experience from start to finish. The ambiance added to the perfect late night vibes of the restaurant. I can't wait to visit again and explore more of their menu!“
“5 star spot! Affordable chicken shack that offers sandwhiches, tenders, fries, and nuggets. Simple menu. Fast casual style. Chicken sandwich was juicy, tangy and crispy. The fries were the perfect balance of salty, seasoned, and crunchy. Prices are amazing for the quality. If you're looking for an easy meal, something quick on the go or a non-frills spot for your next family meal, check out Starbird!“
“I forgot to customize to exclude bell pepper (a family member doesn't like it), I only put in a note in my online order, when I go to pick up, to included bell pepper. But they are happy to make me a different pizza. Very good service. Pizzas are AMAZING!“
“The Bombay Chicken Pizza ?at this hidden gem ? was truly delightful! The white garlic sauce paired with jalapeños ?️and cilantro created a superb taste combination.Despite the challenge of locating it on Google maps ?, the clean and hygienic shared space with a sushi ? shop was a pleasant surprise. As a family-owned restaurant, I look forward to supporting this establishment over CPH in the future!"“
“This is actually one of the best chicken wings spots that I've had. They have a great variety of flavors, with a lot of them being Asian inspired. One thing I love about their wings is how flavorful they are. The wings aren't too oily, which meant more crunch! Portions are great and I definitely do recommend the combos because you get the side of fries and dip. Also, on Mondays and Tuesdays, they offer 85 cent boneless wings!“
“I have NEVER tasted chicken tenders as awesome as the ones I had at this Popeye's! Enormous portion - I ate lunch here & was so full I didn't need to eat until the next day! When I am back in this area i will make it a point to eat here again!“
“I love their pizza, and the staff is always very friendly and helpful. The only big drawback here is that the place needs a serious facelift, inside and out. It's just an old building with an old flavor and old amenities that leave it feeling "dingy". I gave the atmosphere a second star for having good sized TV's playing live sports, although that's really all that's going on inside......But, you can't go wrong with getting their food delivered!!Wheelchair accessibility: ADA compliant from the lot, to seating, to the restrooms.....“
“The service here has always been outstanding. I've brought a group of 20+people (we called ahead of time, but they don't take reservations) and they accommodated us graciously. Most recently we came in at 9pm on a Thursday for some burgers and we were grateful the kitchen was still open! A good sports bar with cheerful service.“
“Stopped by here for dinner before going to Christmas in the Park. There's a parking garage just around the corner that's free for the first 90 min! We ordered the banh mi pizza and ktown & soyum (their signature) wings. Both were so good, but the soyum is incredible. It has a sweet and savory flavor to it. I recommend getting the garlic aioli to dip it in. The banh mi pizza was also quite good, it'd just been nice if the base was crispier so there was more a crunch to it. I would definitely come back for the wings and to try the garlic noodles too! The inside has plenty of seating and there's an outside patio as well for when the weather is nice.“
“I attended a Yelp Elite event at Mountain Mike's on Blossom Hill Rd. It turned out to be a fun family dinner on Thursday evening. The place was pretty busy, which is always a good sign. The vibe was casual and perfect for watching the NBA game while we dined.Nav was our point of contact. He was friendly and accommodating, making our experience all the more enjoyable. He handled our request for a half-and-half Mt. Veggiemore and cheese pizza, ensuring everyone got their favorite.Mt. Veggiemore was a veggie-packed delight and the cheese pizza a gooey, melty classic. We also enjoyed some sodas. Although the food took a bit to arrive, it was worth the wait. The kids were thrilled with the game machines, especially the car racing game, which was a hit with my son. Plus, the claw machine packed with plush toys and candies added an extra layer of fun. They also have a change machine which is very convenient.Parking:There's plenty of space in the back.Overall, Mountain Mike's provided a fabulous venue for a Yelp Elite event. It's a spot that's clearly more than just pizza; it's about the experience.“
