I remember standing in the cold in NY many many years at the FiDi Manhattan Milk Bar location and buying a lot of goodies to bring back home. At that time Milk Bar was exotic and was a big deal. Now that it's available easily at the local kitchen, perhaps the sheen has worn off. The pie was just ok and tiny for the price.
