Oak & Rye is right on Santa Cruz Avenue in downtown Los Gatos, and reservations are highly recommended.
We went on a chilly December evening. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. The heat lamps work well enough to be comfortable. Inside, there is a mix of regular and bar height tables, which gives it a lively feel.

It's Fantastic.
For the San Jose area... It's the best Neapolitan style pizza by far that I have found around here.
Not to go super negative, but 95% of the pizza in south bay is really terrible. Go here and treat yourself to real pizza.
Slice of NY is good too but extremely overpriced and I completely different style to Oak & Rye.
All pizza should be this good or they should just stop.

The food is consistently excellent, especially their pasta. The gnocchi is honestly one of the best I’ve had across the Bay Area - perfectly cooked, rich, and super satisfying. Their pizzas are just as impressive: well-cooked, flavorful, and made with great ingredients. Dessert panna cotta was a great way to end the meal.
