Forever Young Restaurant American • $
17191 CA-46, Lost Hills

“This charming little diner is inside the Blackwell’s Corner Shell gas station convenience store. Stepping in feels like being transported back to a classic 1950s diner, super nostalgic and adorable. The food is typical diner food, nothing fancy, but warm, comforting, and satisfying. One quirky detail: they don’t serve drinks at the diner itself. You’ll need to purchase those separately from the convenience store. You pay upfront, and your food is brought to your table. Aside from the drink situation, everything else was good.“

“I had a ten dollar beef quesadilla, I'm not going lie, it was the best food I've had. It was a gastronomic orgasm I'm sorry for my French. As a truck driver, we don't eat healthy food, we eat dog food. These places should be everywhere, in every truckstop .“

“El Dollar Taqueria delivered a delicious and straightforward dining experience that my family enjoyed. The carne asada was perfectly grilled, tender, and packed with bold flavor, making it the standout of the meal. The pollo burrito was equally impressive, with juicy chicken and fresh, well-balanced fillings that came together beautifully.

While we kept our order simple, the dishes showcased the restaurant's dedication to authentic and quality Mexican cuisine. The casual atmosphere added to the experience, making it a comfortable spot for a quick and satisfying meal. El Dollar Taqueria is a great choice for flavorful staples and a relaxed dining vibe!“

“We eat Indian cuisine in LA/Artesia often and we thought the taste here was comparable, which is remarkable considering it is a food truck. It is located adjacent to a Tesla Supercharger, which makes for a convenient food stop while charging. We had Chicken Biryani and Saag Paneer, and both were great (Nice spice level on the Biryani). The portions are large and the service was excellent. Harvinder was very friendly and welcoming. The accommodations are minimalist since you are sitting outside next to a food truck, but the weather was perfect and we had no issues with it.“
