“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Melody’s Place – A Quirky Gem in Lytle Creek

We stopped at Melody’s Place on a whim while passing through Lytle Creek, and it ended up being one of the sweetest surprises of our trip. This quirky little restaurant and bar, attached to the Scotland Store, has such a fun local vibe — it’s clearly a beloved gathering spot for the community.

Our bartender, Rae, was absolutely wonderful. She made us feel instantly welcome and mixed a great margarita. The gentleman from the store even gifted me a postcard, which was such a thoughtful touch.

The walls are packed with historic photos that give the place character, and the small gift shop adds to the charm. Melody’s Place is the kind of spot that makes you want to linger, chat with the locals, and soak up a bit of real Lytle Creek history.

“These are the best burgers ever! Real beef, thick, juicy patties..and NO skimping . you get great portion sizes. Fries are yummy and if you go between 2 to 5pm, you get 1/2 price shakes! I love coming here. Also, everybody is so nice...makes it a truly wonderful experience...thank you, Mooyah Burgers :). I would have included a pic but, I scarffed that burger down so fast...there was nothing left to photo..lol...oh well, next time...”

“This was my first time trying this place and the food was amazing, very fresh and seasoned to perfection. I don’t mind waiting because they cook everything right when you order. I got the chicken and shrimp skewers and really appreciated the portion sizes. Susan made me feel very welcomed and told me about the other items on the menu that looked good so I will be back! “El Rincon Pizza Always Gets It Right.. Been going here for a year now and I’ve Never had a bad experience. The pizza, wings, and mozzarella sticks are incredible. The dough is a perfect blend, not too heavy and the sauce is very well seasoned. They even have ice cream. The atmosphere is very nice they have tv’s for viewing and it’s spaced out well for intimate dining and big parties. If you’re apart of a blended family or a positive coparenting divorcee’ like myself, this is a great spot for a weekly family meal. 🤣🫶🏾 The staff here are very kind and welcoming and so accommodating to my autistic son(he prefers dining in here).

It’s definitely popular, because a few months ago, I was at the local smoke shop in the same shopping complex about to head over and get a pizza and I overheard someone crying about how they ran out of dough. That’s how great the pizza is😆🥳..
