Mammoth Butcher is an amazing little gem and unassuming butcher shop tucked away in a little shopping plaza in the heart of Mammoth. The people are so service-oriented, friendly, kind, knowledgeable, and welcoming, providing the best service and helpful suggestions. Their sandwiches are amazing and bomb. The hands-down best Tri-tip sandwich is highly recommended, living up to the hype with flavor unlike any sandwich ever had, featuring pretzel bread, the Tri-tip itself, muffaletta mix, and fresh red onion. The barbacoa sandwich is also loved. The sausage sandwich is very good, and the turkey sandwich is beyond amazing, the best ever. The beef is good. It is not cheap, but the price is worth it. As a pretty small operation, wait times can be a bit long if busy, but it is definitely a place to return to.
