The staff are amazing, super friendly! The coffee is smooth, no bitterness. The coffee drinks are always consistent. love this place!!!
We are picky about coffee. So many bitter and really acidic coffees get sold that I think are just undrinkable. My go-to has been Peet's Major Dickasons. I absolutely love Mammoth Coffee's "Into the Woods" blend. It is so delicious and smooth. I definitely am willing to try more out from them.

Mammoth Coffee Roasting, Co. is a must-visit spot in Mammoth Lakes. Despite its small size, the place offers excellent coffee and delicious pastries. Customers recommend trying the classic cappuccino and doughnuts for a perfect start to the day. The in-house pastries, like blueberry muffins and giant donuts, are made fresh daily. The breakfast options, such as the breakfast sando and burrito, are also highly recommended. The friendly staff and great service make this coffee shop a go-to spot for both locals and visitors. The coffee shop also offers several great vegan pastry options, which is a pleasant surprise. The overall atmosphere is chill and cool, making it the perfect spot to relax, enjoy delicious food, and be surrounded by great people. Customers highlight the energetic and friendly service, the delicious breakfast, and the cozy vibe of the coffee shop. They also appreciate the patience of the staff, even when it gets busy. While some customers would prefer a stronger coffee flavor in the lattes, they still enjoy the overall experience and plan to return.
The food is excellent, and the donuts are moist. The breakfast burrito is super tasty, but customers note that the coffee shop automatically charges an 18% gratuity and also asks if customers want to add more gratuity at the end of the transaction. They also charge for light ice and a 3% credit card fee, which some customers find frustrating. Despite these additional charges, the customers who love the coffee and donuts plan to return.
