JOEY Manhattan Beach Reviews
Terrible service. Terrible food.
Manager was awful.
Slow service. Wrong order. Not even water was given to us. Then I wanted to leave and they took forever to charge me for bland food. Avoid this place.
It was such a lovely venture out for my Mom’s birthday, on Friday.
Alex and Dominique (management) are quite lovely, and helped make our dining experience all the more, a joy!
Love the new additions to the menu, particularly the Mini Steak French Dips. The Chicken Parmesan was excellent with the twist of those ‘pepper-like sweet’ tomatoes. Great environment, great service, and delicious food. My second time and not the last for sure. Highly recommend it.

JOEY Manhattan Beach offers a vibrant atmosphere with friendly service, making it a favorite restaurant in the area. Guests have noted some delay in food arrival during busy nights, but the accommodating staff ensures a pleasant dining experience. The Korean fried cauliflower appetizer remains a must-try, alongside the Tofu Bowl. While the sushi may not stand out, the apple fritter pie is delicious. The restaurant has a great vibe, especially when enjoyed with a glass of sparkling before being seated. Recent visitors have highlighted the impressive food and drink choices, with drinks like espresso martinis being a favorite. The staff, including servers like Ricky, Leilani, Jaime, and Yadira, are praised for being friendly, attentive, and helpful with menu selections. Yadira, in particular, is noted for her professionalism and knowledge of the menu, making the dining experience enjoyable. Though slightly pricey, well-prepared dishes such as the mini steak French dips and lobster spaghetti make it worth the visit. The greeters can be a bit pushy with phone number requests, but overall, the experience remains excellent and inviting for returning customers.
