Loved this place. The food was outstanding. Wish I had taken pictures. We got the tomato and burrata salad, wow. We also got the shrimp toast, that was sooo good. For dinner we got the blackened chicken pasta, a crab pasta, the carbonara and the penne with vodka. Everything was hot and delicious!!!! Our server was great too.

Excellent food and service. Our waiter and his assistant were so helpful. My Carbonara was deliscious and plenty to take home for lunch. The Magiamo salad was perfect. We loved the ambience of the cellar.

We were in town on an overnight layover and looked for a highly rated Italian restaurant. This turned out not to be the place. It was small and jammed with people and the table next to us had people loudly talking about death of a family member. That is not the restaurant's fault but shows how close the tables are jammed in. Our food came and it was not particularly memorable. Warm but not hot and obviously sitting unde a warmer for awhile.Cooked ok but little flavor and thrown on a plate. It was hard to get the servers attention as it was understaffed. When you pay the high prices of eating in a restaurant today you would expect properly prepared and nicely plated food and at least a glass of water without asking. That was our experience and hopefully others have better.

Love MANGIAMO'S! Only problem was extremely hi volume of noise from bar first hour until thru left. Large group literally yelling . Felt like we were in a football stadium. They finally left, dimmed the lights, and then it was lively but ‘normal.' Dinner was delicious!

Always a great dinner. One of our favorite long time go to restaurants. Great salads and the sand dabs are always a treat ! Good cocktails and nice selection of wine by the glass. Very nice consistent service

The service people seemed depressed. Our server barely greeted us and was not friendly at all. I told them two times my son was celebrating his 21st birthday and they didn't say or do a thing. The food was super boring (I make a better spaghettini than that) and the bread rolls were dry. Never again! On the way out no one not even our server or the Barman said goodnight! Horrible experience on such a special occasion!

Calamari was amazing. The blackened chicken was good but not very flavorfulThe espresso martini was fabulous.The service was top notch and the location was amazing. The construction clocked our view to the ocean but it was still a great place.

Delicious food, cozy & upscale atmosphere, excellent service. Went here for our anniversary and we were treated so well! We will be back!
4 diners. 1 gluten free, said the pasta was really good. 1 sausage and peppers, good as Philly, 1 fruit de mare, huge fish and shellfish pieces. 1 bolognese, fabulous! Definately go here !!! But make a reservation. It is not huge and is close to the pier.

Granted it was the night before Valentine's Day ....the service was slow, there was confusion as to who was supposed to serve our table. Someone comes and takes a drink order 5 mins later someone else comes. I got served my wine my husband waited 10 mins for his drink to come. Someone takes our appetizer order 5 mins later another person comes. They finally got it squared away but annoying nonetheless. The food was good but it appeared to have sat under the heat lamp a bit. It wasn't up to its usual standard. Somewhat disappointed.

The layered beet salad with goat cheese was a great starter. I ordered the special pasta of the evening with Italian sausage and butternut squash sauce. I liked its sweetness of the sauce and it contrasted well with the spicy sausage. The pasta seemed very fresh, so the dish was delicious.

First of all, it was surprising to learn that points would not be recognized, only minutes before we arrived. Second, reviews claimed the restaurant was quiet, which it was not. The high noise level was not surprising given the small size, but we had guests that were hard of hearing. the taste of the food was mixed. I had sand dabs that were extremely mushy. This was very unusual compared to other sand dabs I have had in the Los Angeles area. The pasta dishes that others had were acceptable.
